A Little About Me
Catherine Moore M.A., CCC-SLP is a qualified Speech
Language
Pathologist and Communication Consultant. She has extensive
knowledge and experience in the areas of Phonology,
Articulation, Voice and Fluency. She is licensed by the state
of California and holds 3 degrees, as well as a Certificate of
Clinical Competence.
In addition, she is a member of ASHA -
American-Speech-Language- Hearing Association. Mrs. Moore is
also certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology and
has successfully completed the training to utilize the Compton
P-ESL program for Accent Reduction. Mrs. Moore successfully
helps clients to greatly improve their communication,
professionally in their business, and with their social
speaking skills.
Mrs. Moore has independently provided consultations,
screenings, assessments, therapy and therapy recommendations
for Phonological Processing, Articulation, Language, Fluency,
Voice and Accent Reduction for clients from ages 1 to 76+.
She has provided services for clients from: private
referrals, home school programs, Regional Center, and several
speech therapy companies. Mrs. Moore has worked in a variety of
settings including:
public schools, residential group homes, clinics, and private
practice. She has been a provider in private practice for
almost 20 years. She enjoys continuing her education and
learning in the field by frequently attending workshops and
seminars to further her knowledge, such as:

Mrs. Moore teaches the following courses - Speech and
Language Development, Child Language and Phonological
Disorders, Voice and Craniofacial Disorders and Clinical
Practicum; Speech Language Disorders in Children at the College
level to facilitate the development, growth and learning of
future speech language pathologists. Currently, she supervises
the child clinic for Master's level students who are developing
their skills as Speech Language clinicians.
With her vast experience in the public schools providing
therapy from Preschool to High school, she also teaches Speech
and Language Development and Disorders for Educators which is
aimed primarily at postgraduate students who are currently
working in the field of education. Lectures include a
multimodal approach: PowerPoint presentations, videos, guest
speakers, cooperative learning activities along with group and
individual projects.
